Subtle

The word subtle must be very subtle indeed, if someone could (and did) write a sentence like this one:

"What if there're both the same with very shuttle differences?"

As for that other problem in the sentence, I must admit that I have almost — almost — given up hope that people will ever learn the differences among these words:

there ~ a place
they're ~ they are
their ~ belongs to them

But "there're"?  I can only shake my head in disbelief.
